Richard With

Built at the Volkswerft Stralsund Richard With is the second of a series of three sister ships starting a fleet renewal program of the now merged Hurtigruten companies. A review of Richard With is found at www.cruisepage.com.
PK - modell offers an excellent 1:100 model kit of the sister ship Kong Harald which can be modified to resemble Richard With. If this is too large for you a smaller cardboard model can be ordered at Wilhelmshavener.
Pam Massey has a very nice travelogue of a Hurtigruten trip with the similar Polarlys on her webpage.
A detailed description of the sister ship Nordlys is found in DESIGNS'94 magazine by ShipPax Information. The material used for the clips presented on this page has been filmed during the northbound leg of one of the first roundtrips of Richard With in February 1994.

See also the subpage on the sister ship Kong Harald.
